Individual Develpment VP

Nathan Barger                     nwb@charter.net

My name is Nathan Barger, and I have been elected president of this chapter for 2008. I first became a Jaycee in 2003 with the O'Fallon Jaycees. I joined Mid County in its charter year of 2004, taking my first board position as Treasurer in 2005. In 2006, I added Individual Development Vice President to my responsibilities. In 2007, I changed roles and became Management Vice President.
I have brought to life a few of Mid County Jaycee projects such as Trivia Night, Demolition Ball, Float Trip, and selling Ted Drewes at Brentwood Days. I hope to continue establishing successful projects this year by selling beverages at the Live on the Levee.
During the day I work as a structural engineer for The Durrant Group, providing structural calculations and design drawings for various types of buildings such as schools, retail, multipurpose, justice, and residential. In December of 2007, I purchased a new house in Maplewood, a rocks throw from our communities.
I look forward to a successful year as president and look forward to growing this chapter, and coming together to do so.
